What happened that year?
An invention can have several milestones. The clue asks for a specific one: a discovery, a first working demonstration, an announcement or a commercial launch. Guess that event’s year. The reveal gives its context and a link to the source.

One good guess leads to another.
Enter a year and press Go. An exact answer earns 100 accuracy points; a close one earns 85. Consecutive close or exact answers add a streak bonus, starting at +5 on the second and growing to +25 per answer.
Watch the traveller dash or take flight. The real year appears straight away, and Space skips the performance. Choose “Rest here” after an answer to open your time log and review.
